One shared order, built around two people
This order began with a couple planning a substantial business wardrobe together. The final commission was 10 men's business suits, 6 women's business suits, 20 men's shirts, 7 women's shirts, and 1 waistcoat — 44 custom garments in total.
Although the garments travelled together, the order was never treated as one generic brief. Each client had their own measurements and fitting needs, while Wuyue coordinated the timing, completion, packing, and delivery as one shared commission.
July 23–25: booking and the first shop visit
The first record is an English-language WhatsApp exchange on July 23. Wuyue confirmed a 10:00 am appointment for July 25 and asked about the clients' Shanghai and China schedule so the work could be planned around their trip rather than against it.
On July 25, the couple came to Wuyue Bespoke Tailoring at Shop 256 on the second floor of South Bund Fabric Market. The conversation moved from the trip calendar to the garments themselves, then into separate measurements for each wearer. Their measurements and design selections remain private, but the appointment established the practical foundation for the full order.

The next day, the clients returned to the shop for an in-person fitting. It was the moment when the order moved beyond measurements and conversations: the tailor could see the jacket on the wearer, check the overall line in motion, and carry those observations into the remaining work.
For a large order, this kind of return visit also keeps the calendar grounded. The clients were in Shanghai for a limited time, while the finished garments still had to be prepared, packed, and sent as one complete shipment after they left.
From a fitting to a complete wardrobe order
The work continued beyond the suits. By completion, the commission included 27 shirts and one waistcoat alongside the 16 business suits, so every item had to be kept within the same order plan and ready for a single handover.
August 12: packing the complete order
On August 12, once the order was ready to leave Shanghai, Wuyue photographed the finished garments and packing before dispatch. Suits and shirts were prepared together, with individual suit boxes gathered into the larger parcel for collection.
Before the parcel left, the client checked that his wife's garments were included as well. Wuyue confirmed that everything for both clients was inside, closing the loop on a commission that had begun as one shared visit to Shop 256.

Wuyue sent the SF Express tracking number after dispatch, allowing the clients to follow the parcel remotely. The shipment was subsequently signed for, completing the order after their Shanghai visit.
The public record keeps the clients' names, address, tracking number, and signature private. It also does not turn a pre-try-on chat message into a testimonial. The value of this case is simpler: a documented order was measured in Shanghai, completed as one commission, dispatched, and received.
